How will you organise the auction of my works?

Capturing the attention of potential buyers is an art that requires true professionals used to a demanding market.

The trust placed in us by our customers will enable us to organise nearly 300 auctions in 2022 in Paris (Hôtel Drouot, Salle VV, le 116, etc.), Nice, Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco and online.

In 2020, despite the COVID crisis, MILLON's auctions will be just as numerous, diverse and specialised. Online auctions, which have been held at MILLON since 2011, have been added to the range, much to the delight of our customers.

 

The different auction sales

There are several types of auction. The choice of auction depends on the specific nature and value of the piece you wish to sell.

Do you own a painting depicting a view of the Orient? It will be presented at a specific "Orientalist Art" themed sale, or if you have an animal bronze, we will offer you the "Bestiary" sale... MILLON offers more than 35 art specialities or departments and different sale formats.

Our specialists will tell you about the upcoming sales season, the speciality and the most appropriate venue to ensure the best visibility for your work of art, object or collection.

 

Our sales venues

In order to be as close as possible to our potential buyers, we have various sales venues between France and Belgium.

Our auction house organises its sales in Paris, Nice, Brussels, Switzerland and Morocco... these auctions can be held on the internet, live or online, or traditionally in person in our auction rooms.

The means used to promote your works of art

Our auction house makes every effort to capture the attention of buyers looking for special works, signatures and style.

For those of you wishing to sell at the best price, this is a guarantee of quality by promoting your collection, the work of art or the objet d'art that you are about to entrust to us.

The 70,000 or so lots entrusted to us by our auctioneers each year are accompanied by a communication campaign orchestrated around all our sales (prestiges, catalogued sales, regular sales, etc.) using the most relevant media

 

- A catalogue for all sales

All our sales have a digital catalogue that can be downloaded from our website and consulted well in advance of upcoming sales.

- A paper catalogue

Prestige" sales have a printed catalogue sent free of charge to our customers registered with the specialist departments. It is also distributed during the exhibition and sale.

- Weekly newsletters

These are sent out to provide information on forthcoming sales. They are then supplemented by newsletters sent by the departments to their specialist files.

- Advertising and editorial

Through the media, we promote our works by issuing press releases to the print and digital media.

- On social networks

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter of MILLON and our partners, we distribute films, articles and images of the works, paintings and objets d'art entrusted to us.
