AUCTIONS OF COLLECTORS' WEAPONS AND MILITARIA
Headed by Ludivine Pladepousaux and accompanied by renowned expert Gaétan Brunel, the Collector's Arms - Militaria auction department offers pieces of history for sale.
From weapons to uniforms, from medals of merit to Légions d'Honneur, the department offers for sale, after appraisal, items that have often crossed the centuries or rubbed shoulders with celebrities.
Collector's weapons - Militaria: sales organised by specialist experts
With its military prestige and varied weapons, the Collector's Weapons - Militaria auction department selects halberds, court swords and sabres, crossbows, hunting daggers, swords, daggers and oriental weapons (kriss, katana, yatagan, kindjal, chilanum, etc.), muskets and blunderbusses, bayonets, not forgetting pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns, for specialised auctions.
We also offer uniforms and equipment for soldiers of all periods: medieval, Napoleonic, as well as the soldiers of the Second World War. Collectors will delight in the helmets, shakos, kepis, dolmans, epaulettes, belts and French and international decorations that we showcase at each of our sales.
Gaëtan Brunel and Ludivine Pladepousaux, dedicated specialists in their field, showcase these historic objects through dedicated auctions, enhanced by in-depth descriptions and expert research.
In Nice, Imen Gharbi manages the sales of this MILLON Riviera department.
Sales calendar for the Collector's Guns department
The Collector's Guns - Militaria department offers a wide range of authenticated items. These items are grouped together in two annual sales, which are presented in an auction room hosted by an auctioneer.
To satisfy both amateurs and collectors, estimates range from a few dozen euros to several thousand euros.
The subject matter is vast, often spanning the centuries and ranging from Renaissance weapons, or even earlier, to memorabilia from the First and Second World Wars.
These objects may come from large collections, but they are also often fortuitous discoveries in the context of inheritance. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts: while some weapons must be destroyed because they are so dangerous, many have a market value that can be realised on sale.
To help you, our expert will tell you whether your weapon belongs to category A, B, C or D and the procedures for each.
